  1. Good luck with your migration project. I have been a follower of yours for the last few years. I especially love your insightful posts of all the I Love Lucy episodes. I wonder if I should be moving all to a different platform? May I ask if it is something you are doing for preservation? Just appreciate any advice on this issue. Thanks!

PS pardon duplicate from. Tumblr- wasn’t sure if this would be better to write to you.

    1. tumblr has changed in the past seven years of Papermoon Loves Lucy. They recently decided to eliminate non-member viewing which frustrated many of my fans on other platforms. IMHO Tumblr is in a downward spiral that may result in its viability as a host for my blogs. Not sure yet if WordPress is the answer. It’s a first step toward preserving the work. Stay tuned!

      1. Wow! I as to Tumblr are not answered helpfully. m sooooo frustrated at this point with Tumblr. I have a blog on 40’s era actor John Garfield and EVERY day I get multiple requests from followers with sexually explicit content. Nothing to do with my blog!

I think I am ready for a change since my questions to Tumblr do not help. Are you happy with your Word Press? Is it costly and were you able to import all you valuable content? Thanks for your guidance. As said before you have my favorite blog to visit!

      2. I am still working out my relationship with Word Press. Some of the migration formatting was off but that is to be expected. I would love to only maintain Tumblr, but their sharing policy is untenable.
