  1. Katharine Mauk ~ was born in 1911 in San Angelo, Texas. Her only other credit was The Hell Cat (1934).
  2. Ruth Stovall ~ was the face of Ponds Cold Cream and Palmolive Soap print ads. Curiously, there is no record of her being in the film. 
  3. Mary Lange ~ was born in 1912 in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. She was a Ziegfeld Girl on Broadway before becoming a Goldwyn Girl. This was her 3rd of 15 films,4 of which were with Lucille Ball. 
  4. Vivian Keefer ~

    was born in 1909 in New York City. This was the first of her 5 films, 4 of which were with Lucille Ball. 

  5. Barbara Pepper ~ was making her screen debut, but would go on to appear in hundreds of films and television shows, including episodes of “I Love Lucy”. She became best known for playing Florence Ziffel on the TV series “Green Acres.” 
  6. Theo Phane aka Theo Plane ~ was a shoe model who only did this one film. 
  7. Lucille Ball ~ is noted for her smile!

Eddie Cantor (1892-1964) was a singer, songwriter (“Merrily We Roll Along”), comedian, author and actor. He made his first public appearance in Vaudeville in 1907. He made Broadway stage appearances, had his own radio program in the 1930s, appeared often on television in the 1950s, and made many records. Lucille Ball appeared in two more films with Cantor: Kid Millions (1934) and Ziegfeld Follies (1945). 

Gloria Stewart (1910-2010) started screen acting in 1932 and became most famous as Old Rose in James Cameron’s Titanic (1997). 

Ruth Etting (1894-1978) was a celebrated singing star of stage, radio and recordings. She popularized the torch song “You Made Me Love You,” among others. Etting appeared in numerous film shorts as well as three feature-length films of the early 1930’s. She was played by Doris Day in the 1955 biopic Love Me Or Leave Me.

David Manners (1901-1998) was a handsome, leading man who appeared in such classic horror films Dracula (1931) and The Mummy (1932).
